HYST Casing Successfully Applied in China’s Deepest Designed Gas Well Onshore

Recently, HYST’s products were successfully applied in China’s deepest designed gas well onshore--Tarim Oilfield Dabei 401 Well.

Located in Mount Tianshan, Dabei 401 Well reportedly has a designed well depth of 8457 meters. With unusually complex geological structure, it has the world-class challenging exploration well condition.

At the beginning of the new year, Dabei 401 Well drilling began. All the casings used in the 1500 meters of the surface layer are the large-diameter quick connection casings independently developed by HYST, which have the features of large thread pitch, quickness of making-up and ease of operation.

On March 3, the good news was announced from Mount Tianshan that all the casings manufactured by HYST have successfully run into the well, laying a solid foundation for the realization of ultra-deep drilling.
